Iraqi puppet regime imposes curfew on Hit starting at dawn Friday morning.

In a dispatch posted at 2pm Baghdad time Friday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the puppet police in Hit, 180km northwest of Baghdad, used loudspeakers to announce that a curfew had been imposed on the city starting at dawn on Friday and lasting until further notice.

Yaqen reported a source in the Hit puppet police as saying that they had received intelligence information saying that Resistance fighters had entered the city on Thursday while the puppet regime痴 security forces were distracted by the car bombing at the entrance to the city in which five people were killed and 14 more of them injured.

Al-Kubaysah.

Car bomber targets puppet police station in al-Kubaysah early Friday morning.

In a dispatch posted Friday morning, the Yaqen News Agency reported that a car bomber drove an explosives-laden vehicle into the puppet police station in al-Kubaysah, 180km northwest of Baghdad, on Friday morning.

Yaqen reported Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad al-Kubaysi, commander of the city痴 puppet police force, as saying that the car bomber blew up his vehicle, wounding four civilians who were nearby at the time and who were taken immediately to nearly Hit Hospital for treatment.

Bomb targets US, puppet army patrol in Baghdad Friday.

In a dispatch posted at 7pm Baghdad time Friday night, the Yaqen News Agency reported that two bombs exploded in two separate incidents in Baghdad on Friday.

Yaqen reported a source in the puppet police as saying that the first bomb went off in the Bub ash-Sham area of eastern Baghdad by a joint patrol of US and puppet regime troops. Nothing was known about the nature or extent of casualties caused by the blast because US troops quickly closed off the area and prevented the puppet police from approaching.

A second bomb then exploded in the al-Mushtill area to the southeast of Baghdad but that blast inflicted no casualties, only resulting in minor material damage to a number of nearby buildings.

In a dispatch posted at 5:09pm Makkah time Friday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the US military had admitted that a US soldier had died when a bomb exploded by his foot patrol in southern Baghdad.

Mafkarat al-Islam reported that in keeping with the US policy of concealing information regarding US losses in Iraq, no further information was provided regarding the death.

US admits death of American soldier in southern Baghdad Thursday.

In a dispatch posted at 3:05pm Baghdad time Friday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the US military had admitted that one more of its troops had been shot and killed in southern Baghdad on Thursday.

Yaqen reported an American communiqué as saying that one of its troops had been killed by small arms fire in southern Baghdad. No further details were provided.

Salah ad-Din Province.

Tikrit.

Resistance bombards puppet army camp in Tikrit Thursday night.

In a dispatch posted at 11:25am Baghdad time Friday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the Iraqi Resistance fired mortar shells into the puppet army camp on al-Ihtifalat Square in Tikrit, 180km north of Baghdad on Thursday night.

Yaqen reported eyewitnesses as saying that the barrage sent clouds of smoke rising from the compound as units of the puppet police and ambulances raced to the aid of the puppet troops. No information on the nature or extent of casualties was reported.

Bomb targets puppet police in Friday Market in Tikrit.

In a dispatch posted at 11:11am Baghdad time Friday morning, the Yaqen News Agency reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet police patrol in the Friday Market in Tikrit Friday morning.

Yaqen reported eyewitnesses as saying that the blast damaged one patrol vehicle and wounded two puppet policemen. After the attack, the puppet police opened fire indiscriminately around the market and then sealed off the area with civilians still inside. They then began arresting people, rounding up 15 civilians and taking them off in police vehicles to their headquarters.

The wild shooting angered many of those trying to sell goods in the market, most of whom shut down after the incident.

Diyala Province.

Al-Mada段n.

US forces blockade city of al-Mada段n in preparation for mass raids, searches.

In a dispatch posted at 12:35am Makkah time Saturday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US troops, accompanied by their Iraqi puppet regime allies, had blockaded the city of al-Mada段n, 25km southeast of Baghdad on Friday in preparation for a massive campaign of raids and searches.

Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Americans and their puppet allies blocked any cars from entering or leaving al-Mada段n, and also prevented individuals on foot from returning to their districts in the city.

Local residents reported that the Americans and their local henchmen had sealed off al-Mada段n three days ago and that as of Friday shortages in vital goods were beginning to make themselves felt.

Al-Miqdadiyah.

US artillery kills woman, four children in al-Miqdadiyah Thursday night.

In a dispatch posted Friday morning, the Yaqen News Agency reported that US forces bombarded villages located to the north of al-Miqdadiyah, 85km northeast of Baghdad, on Thursday night, killing five members of a local family.

Yaqen reported a source in the al-Miqdadiyah puppet police as saying that a woman and four of her children were killed when the US started bombarding the area trying to hit positions of fighters, according to American claims.

The source said that one of the shells landed on a home in a village, destroying several houses and killing five members of one family.

The town of 'Arab Jabbur has been the target of US heavy artillery bombardment for four days straight now, as the Americans continue to target what they claim are al-Qa'idah fighters in the area.

British soldier reportedly dies of injuries received in traffic accident in al-Basrah.

In a dispatch posted at 3:19pm Baghdad time Friday afternoon, the Yaqen News Agency reported that the British War Ministry had announced that one of its soldiers had died as a result of a traffic accident in the southern Iraqi city of al-Basrah on Thursday.

Yaqen reported a British spokesman as saying that the soldier was injured two days earlier at al-Basrah International Airport and was later evacuated to London for treatment. He died, however, on Thursday, in a British hospital.
